Days 02: Chennai – Kanchipuram
After breakfast drive to local sight seeing tour of Chennai Visit to : Egmore Museum, Art Gallery ,Marina Beach, , Mylapore, Kabaleeswarar , Santhom Church, St. George Fort and Madras (Chennai) Museum -After lunch drive to Kanchipuram. The first temple dedicated to Shiva was built in the 7th and 8th century & has paintings on the walls. Days 03: Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram –( 75Kms / 1.5 hrs)
In the Morning breakfast you proceed to tour of the ancient stone cut monuments of Mahabalipuram including the 7th Century Shore Temple, Five Rathas and Arjuna's' Penance- the largest bas relief in the world. Days 04: Dep : Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (135 kms - 2 ½ hours
After breakfast we will make the 2 ½ hour drive to Pondicherry. This former French enclave maintains its colonial charm and Gallic feel but is unmistakably Indian at the same time. In the afternoon we will take a walking tour to explore some of the history of the town
Days 05: Pondicherry - Trichy (203 kms - 4 ½ hrs
After breakfast drive to local sightseeing of Trichy including banks of the Cauvery River at Amma Mandapam where various local rituals take place and the sprawling Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. The Rock Fort Temple with 437 stone cut steps to the top for panoramic views is surrounded by a bustling local bazaar which you are free to explore.
Days 06: Trichy - Tanjore_ (65 kms 1 ½ hours
After breakfast drive to Tanjore, Palace and Art Gallery and the Brihadishwara Temple. This is perhaps the crowning glory of Chola architecture- also a World Heritage Monument
The tower of the temple is an engineering marvel of the construction was made in such a way that the shadow of the Cupola never falls on the ground.

Days 07: Tanjore –Madurai ( 160 kms / 03hrs
Afterbreakfast drive to Madurai -This temple built in Dravidian style Architecture with colourful has rich cultural heritage and history. Madurai is a Tamil Nadu most happening cultural area. Days 08: Madurai - Periyar (140 Km - 4 hours
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Periyar, on arrival check in to the hotel. Later in the evening take cruise in the Periyar Lake in the cool surroundings and the panorama spreads around tropical jungles, Wild elephants & birds of myriad varieties. In the evening you may visit to spice market to pick up some fragrant spices. Later return to the hotel. Evening free for leisure at the jungle resort

After breakfast we drive to Kumarakom (145 Kms / 4 Hrs). On arrival at Kumarakom visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary ( famous for migratory and local birds ) it is famous for endless view of calm clean backwater of Kerala with canals, paddy fields and fishing villages. Drive to Belur, visit the Temple of Chenna Kesava, a manifestation of Vishnu. Later drive to Halebid to visit an ancient temple. Drive to Mysore enroute visiting SriRangapatnam. Visit the Fort, Tippu's airy summer palace, Dharia Daulat Bagh built entirely of wood
Days 05: Mysore
Visit Mysore the capital city of Hyder Ali, Tippu sultan & the benevolent Wodeyar kings.Visit the palace of the maharaja (Wodeyar king). Visit the art gallery, drive upto Chamundi hill, Chamundeshwari temple named after goddess Chamundi,On your way back see the Nandi bull.Drive to Somnathpur, visit the Somnathpur Temple.
Days 06: Mysore / Bandipur
Drive to Bandipur, a wild life sanctuary has rich wild life such as elephants, bison, sambhar, spotted deer, peacocks, bears, tigers panthers etc which can be seen at artificial lakes. Optional tour trekking, elephant & jeep rides to view wild life.
Days 7: Bandipur / Ooty
Drive to Ooty Visit the botanical gardens, Also visit the artificial lake John Sullivan, St.Stephens church and the Ooty club built in 1820. Excellent view points are located At Dodabetta, elk hill, valley view & Snowden peak

Visit Cochin, then visit the Mattancherry palace also called the Dutch palace, St.Francis church the Portuguese Vasco-Da-Gama was initially buried & Santa Cruz basilica which has got some beautiful paintings.At leisure. Days 10: Cochin / Kumarakom
Drive to allepey, on arrival take a boat ride on the beautiful backwaters to Changanacherry. Drive to Kumarakom enroute to Kottayam one of Kerala's most prosperous cities covered with rubber plantations and dotted with churches.
Days 11: Kumarakom / Periyar
Drive to periyar, visit the earliest Sanctuary set up in 1934.
Days 12: Periyar / Madurai

Days 14: Trichy / Tanjore
Visit Tanjore, visit the big temple known as Brihadeeswarar Temple
Days 15: Tanjore / Pondicherry
Drive to Pondy, enroute visit an ancient shiva temple at kumbakonam. Drive to Gangai Konda Cholapuram to see an ancient shiva temple. Proceed to Chidambaram to visit Lord Nataraja, Lord Shiva .Proceed to Pondicherry
Days 16: Pondicherry / Mahabalipuram

Days 4: Mahabalipuram / Tanjore (300 km / 6 hrs)
Early morning drive to Tanjore. Upon arrival a visit to Brihadewswara Temple also known as the 'Big Temple', built by the Chola dynasty. This massive temple is 216 feet high and the single spherical stone on top weighs 80 tons.

Days 5: Tanjore / Trichy / Madurai ( 200 km / 4 hrs.)
Post breakfast departure for Madurai via Trichy. On arrival city tour of Trichy, covering Srirangam temple & Rockfort, Trichy's most famous landmark, which has a temple perched on the outcrop of Rock. On to Madurai. OverNight stay.

Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and home to Taj Mahal, has always fascinated the Indians as well as foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and the Taj at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. Early morning you enjoy the sight of the rising sun over the dome like structure of the magnificent Taj Mahal. Next on is a visit to Agra Fort. Evening at leisure followed by overNight stay at hotel.
Days 19: Agra / Khajuraho (By Air)

Days 22: Delhi
Breakfast at the Coffee shop. Rest of the morning at leisure. You will be taken on a tour of Delhi, visit to Old Delhi and followed by visits to the 1648 Red Fort, India's largest mosque - Jama Masjid and Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat. Afternoon tour includes visits to India Gate, President's House, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutb Minar. Tour concludes.
